Go CHROME! FREE Apps and EXTENSIONS for Differentiation!

Is this you?
No Smart Board or Interact White Board?
No iPads or Nexus Tablets?
Don't worry- you can still find plenty of FREE apps and extensions @ the CHROME Web Store to differentiate and to enrich student learning!
All you need is Google Chrome Browser, a projector and a laptop/Chromebook!
What is the Google Chrome Store?
The Chrome Web Store is an online marketplace where you can find a wide range of extensions, themes, and apps designed for the Google Chrome browser.

How do I find the store?
Of course you can "Google it", but you can click on the Apps Icon on the top left hand side of your CHROME Browser to access the Chrome Store.

Here are a few FREE apps that we have been using in our 2nd grade classroom!
There are million so have fun shopping right away!

You can also purchase extensions at the Chrome Store.
What is an extension?
Extensions are extra features and functionality that you can easily add to Google Chrome. By using extensions, you can customize Google Chrome with features you like, while keeping your browser free of things that you don't use.

Here are my extensions!

Do you have a favorite APP or EXTENSION?
If so, please share!!!
I would love to try it out!

  1. One that I use heavily is the Pocket Chrome extension (http://bit.ly/1cN9VQv). Pocket is a bookmarking site that does sort of what Clearly does but it saves it to read for later offline on various devices of your choosing. Great post!

  2. Thanks! I will have to check it out! Keep me in mind for other great finds! :)

  3. This is a Google creation and as the name suggests, this Chrome Extension displays webpage statistics like loading times.

  4. Fascinatingly composed,Totally in wonder of the article.
