My Favorite Screencasting App

This month my teachers have been focusing on creating screencasts with and for their students. I had a couple of teachers decide to purchase the Explain Everything app for their iPads rather than using some of the free apps such as Educreations, ShowMe, Doceri, etc. The main reason for buying the app was because of the ability to save to the camera roll and its ease of use over some of the other apps. This is important because students have been creating math and reading logs using the app Book Creator. Adding video is a great way for students to show what they know about a particular topic. Click on the link below to see an example of how a student used her Explain Everything video to add to her math log.

  1. This looks great! I just recently found out about Educreations. Thank you for recommending this app. I will check into both, and then (hopefully) start a project soon!

    1. I'll have to check out your post. It is such a great app it deserves two posts. We are just scratching the surface of what it can do in the classroom.
