Report card time is here! Like many schools, my school uses standards based report cards. This means that my “grade book” is more than just a series of number grades, instead it is a collection of anecdotal notes. This year, instead of an endless stream of sticky notes, I’m using a free iPad app/ website program called Evernote. I have created a notebook for each of my students and created notes for each subject. Every few days, I leave notes about each student. In addition, I can add pictures, pdfs or recordings to each note. For more information about how I’m using Evernote in my classroom, stop by my blog – Raki’s Rad Resources.
