Help Needed! I need to develop a survey on iPad use in the classroom.

Hi Techy-Blogger friends---

I am in the process of creating a survey for the teachers in my building regarding the use of the iPad in their classroom this year.  We each received a brand new iPad in August to use in our class with our students  I was tasked with presenting the initial training, and we have had 2 additional mini-training sessions on how to use it and also on some great apps to use. Now I would like to get a feel for what issues/successes they are having with using it in their classroom, likes/dislikes, etc. What apps they have found helpful and which were not worth the $.

For those of you that are using an iPad in your classroom with your students  what other questions do you suggest that I ask them?  Has any one done a similar survey in your school? If so, anyway you could forward the questions used to me to look at? For others, what types of information do you think I should try and get from the survey questions. My plan is to share it with my Principal and AP, the ICs and also our district technology folks.

Thank you in advance for your help...you can leave a comment below or email me directly at teachertales@gmail.com.

  1. I have an ipad in my classroom and my favorite aps are:

Educreations - think simple Smartboard on the Ipad with recording capability that brings out a video at the end

Evernote - the easiest way every to keep annecdotal notes

FlashPassMath - easy way to practice math facts

Edmodo - My kids can access all of their Edmod stuff, including sites I have linked for their research project on the Ipad.

iTranslate - For my ELL babies, it's a translater at their finger tips.
