Technology Integration Plan

As the school year gets closer, we all have tons of technology ideas in our head, but how are we going to fit those ideas into all of the standards we have to teach?  Once the school year starts, all of the great technology ideas tend to fall by the wayside, as we focus on curriculum.  Then at the end of the year, we say, “Oh man, I never used that technology!”  So, while those ideas are fresh in your head, make a list or a table of ways that you can integrate the technology into the standards you know you must cover this year.  This way your plans can include these technology ideas and you will be able to “get it all in”.  If you need some new technology ideas, or ways to integrate technology into your lessons – feel free to grab the tables I made when I was teaching technology.  They include projects that can be used for students in K-5, in order to integrate technology and writing or technology and math.  You can grab either table for FREE from my Teachers Pay Teachers store – both use some Web 2.0 projects and some Microsoft Office projects – which could easily be done with other applications, including Google Docs.

  1. You are wonderful! I love your tables and am so excited to incorporate them in my lessons! I teach technology at an elementary school and am always looking for new cool ideas on how to help the teacher incorporate tech in their lessons! Thanks again!

  2. Wow, those are great resources! We are departmentalizing for the first time this year and I am teaching tech... your lists gave me some great ideas! Thanks!
